Celestial Ballet and Solar Diamond

On April 8, 4, a spectacular and rare event lit up the skies of Canada, the United States and Mexico: a total solar eclipse. When the moon positioned itself perfectly between the Earth and the Sun, some regions were briefly plunged into darkness, delighting many observers. Sherbrooke was the perfect location for this event, with clear skies and a viewing window of 3 minutes and 23 seconds. I didn't miss a thing of this celestial ballet! Later in the month, I was also able to photograph the April full moon, often called the Pink Moon, which coincides with the flowering of the phlox subulata, a perennial plant with pink hues, while the cloudy weather added a theatrical atmosphere worthy of a werewolf movie.
